Unlike the Original I version we reviewed in August 2024, this Original II version incorporates a layer of pocket springs in place of one of the foam layers. This change has been designed to improve air circulation throughout the mattress, contributing to better temperature regulation. What's more, the addition of these pocket springs also enhances the durability of their mattresses.
Another positive aspect we verified is the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification, which ensures the absence of harmful and undesirable chemicals for humans and the environment.

We received the Original II mattress for a hands-on evaluation, which we conducted with care. Saferbuy is an independent testing institute. We do not receive any commission on the sales of the products we evaluate. Brands may pay to have their customer experience audited and to use the Saferbuy badge, but this does not influence our assessments.
Our evaluation covers the entire customer journey, from product presentation to delivery and reception. We also analyze the packaging, user experience, and after-sales service, while providing a value-for-money rating compared to other players in the market.
Evaluations are based on a points system, with a maximum of 100 points per section. The final score is the weighted average of all sections, according to their level of importance. Details of our evaluation process are available on our website.
2. Delivery (out of 100 points)
ℹ️ Delivery testing provides accurate information on the time, condition and reliability of delivery services offered by brands. Consumers want to be sure that their products will arrive on time and in good condition. By testing delivery processes, we can identify weak points, whether delays, damage or communication problems.

We observed a satisfactory delivery process. The tracking number was clearly provided, with easy access to the tracking application and detailed information about the status of our order. Delivery timelines were met, and the product was received within 7 days. The package arrived in good condition. On the day of delivery, we were able to follow the real-time progress of the parcel online and view the courier's route on the map.
3. First impressions, packaging and contents

Excess materials appear to have been minimized, and recyclable plastic was used for vacuum sealing, allowing for compact delivery and protection against moisture.
When you open the packaging, everything is present and corresponds to the description on the product page. Unpacking reveals a carefully rolled and compressed mattress, making it easy to transport and install.
Upon unpacking, the mattress quickly begins to regain its original shape. The packaging design and ease of opening appear to have been considered to simplify this step. Based on our observations, it takes a few hours for the mattress to fully expand and be ready for use.

Getting in touch was very easy, on the brand's website there's a chatbox at the bottom right, which starts with a questionnaire generated by Artificial Intelligence. Then we are redirected to a customer support person who is a real person, who answers all our questions and can even guide us in our choice of mattress. This person asks us questions to help us choose which mattress would suit us best.
During our evaluation, we contacted Emma's customer service by phone. There was no waiting, and we were immediately able to speak with an advisor who answered all our questions clearly and in detail. He gave us pertinent advice and confirmed the 100-day trial policy. We particularly appreciated the professionalism of the person we spoke to, who was able to provide us with precise and useful information, which greatly facilitated our approach.
Emma is fully committed to the durability of its products, justifying a 10-year warranty after extensive testing. This guarantee testifies to their confidence in the quality of their mattresses and their commitment to their customers. As for the 100-night trial, simply contact their support team to initiate a free return if the product is not suitable. This simple, no-cost process reflects Emma's commitment to customer satisfaction and transparency.
