It all started with a discussion with a patient
Louis, now co-founder of SaferBuy, is a former physiotherapist.
During his studies and work, several patients shared their bad online shopping experiences: products never received with sites shutting down, products very different from their description, disappointing quality, or promises that simply do not match reality.
These discussions raise a simple question:
How can we know if what is promised online really corresponds to what we will receive, when we cannot see, touch, or verify the product before buying it?
It is from this question that the idea of SaferBuy was born.

A Shared Conviction
With Samuel, we transformed this idea into SaferBuy: an independent third party that actually buys the products, verifies the promises made online, and documents what the consumer actually receives.
Our conviction is simple: trust should not rely solely on a promise. It should be verifiable.

A gap that is too wide between promise and reality
Online, brands control the presentation of their products. But once the "buy" button is clicked, reality can be different: delivery times, quality, packaging, "easy return", customer service...
